DOG WALKING

Dog walking provides many benefits that include keeping your dog healthy, physically fit and mentally stimulated. Walking fulfils your dog’s natural instincts for exploring sights, sounds and smells. As such this can help to reduce negative behaviours in the home due to boredom and pent-up energy. We use only positive-based training techniques to build strong recall and reinforce good manners. Our structured dog walks will allow you to come home to a calm and relaxed dog.
Your dog will be paired with one or two other dogs based on age, temperament and location. We will walk a maximum of four dogs at any time, our main goal is for your dog to enjoy their walk.
Some dogs need a little more personal attention. We can customize private walks to suit your dog’s needs. Slow walks for older dogs, calming walks for nervous or aggressive dogs.
At the end of the walk, your dog will be given fresh clean water, brushed (if dry) or towel dried (if wet).
There are a number of reasons you may need a dog walker.
For example, if you are out at work all day, can’t get about as much as you used to, are out of action due to illness or injury, need to work late, have a social engagement, family commitments etc.
Prevent boredom and loneliness that can lead to unwanted behaviours such as barking, howling, scratching, chewing, self-harm and soiling. ● Improve your dog’s health and fitness ● Ensure ongoing socialisation to help avoid fearfulness and aggression issues.
